Title: Worries at night
Characters: Casey Connor, mention of Zeke Tyler
Prompts: midnight, fierce, cold, deep, relief (1 sentence only per prompt)
Word Count: 133
Finished: 23.09.2020
:::
Another glance at the clock; it was already after midnight. Casey sighed deeply, pulling the blanket closer around his body. It was a nasty, cold night, the roads slippery from fallen leaves and rain, and Zeke had promised to be at home at least at 10 o'clock. Yes, he was a good driver, usually didn't risk too much, but now Casey felt a mixture of anger and fierce worry talking over his mind; at least he could call, couldn't he, but what, if something has happened to him, and he wasn't able to do so?
About one hour later, finally the deep roaring of the GTO was coming from the driveway, and Casey rushed to the door; all anger and worry gone; all he could feel was relief, that Zeke was back, and obviously okay.
