„She died when I was about ten years old.“

„It's okay, I guess. Found her old cooking books on the attic last weekend. Brought back so many memories of the days I spend on her farm. She always made her plum cake extra for me because I loved it.“

„Sounds as if she was lovely.“

„Yeah, maybe the only one who ever cared about me.

Try the cake. It's the first time I made it on my own.“

„Mmmhhh.“

„Good?“

„Perfect. You need to give the recipe to my Mom.“

„Can't. Family secret.“

„Oh, c'mon, my parents are like family for you. My mom loves you to pieces.“
