Zeke rolled his eyes. „Casey, stop making such a drama. It's just a homework!“

„An important one. It can ruin our grade point average when we fail. The last I can need right now, with college applications ahead."

„Fine! I will tell good old Furlong that he can't blame you for it. I'm sure he will understand.“

Casey huffed annoyed. „You don't get the point. This is supposed to be a teamwork. Team! You know the meaning of this word? You and me should work together.“

„God, Casey!“ Zeke smirked. „Everyone knows that I'm not a good team player. It won't surprise Furlong; you will probably even get some extra points for doing all the work alone. What's your problem?“

„I don't stab my teammates in the back, even if it is such a stubborn shit like you. We will do this together, or we will fail together. All I ask you for is to go into the library with me for an hour or two. This can't be so difficult.“

For whatever inscrutable reason, Zeke suddenly felt some amusement rising up. „Fine, you win,“ he gave in.

Casey frowned, full of distrust about this sudden change of mind. „What's this supposed to mean?“

„Meet me after school at the parking lot. We will go to my garage; the computer there is much better than these lame machines at the school's library.“
