„Geez, winter is coming soon and it will get freezing cold,“ Kurdy said with a slightly impatient undertone in his voice, „don't you think it is a good idea to have a roof over your head?“
Smith smiled:“ You are a nice guy, thank you for the offer; I don't mind to spend some hours a day in the cafeteria to warm up, but it's unthinkable that I move in here.“
When Kurdy pulled his face, he added: “No windows, you know, the sleeping quarters of the Mountain feel like a prison cell for me, with no chance to escape.“
