„Connor! What the heck are you doing here again?“
Though Zeke was obviously annoyed, the boy seemed unimpressed. Smiling he looked up from his book. „Lunch break.“
„I know,“ Zeke snarled.“And why are you not in the cafeteria or at the picnic tables outside like everyone else?“
Casey shrugged. „I'm not looking for company. The bleachers are quiet, and no one is bothering me.“
True, Zeke had to admit. It was understandable that this geek tried to stay away from the others as often as possible. To be the favorite victim of the football team was no fun. But the was none of his business; all he wanted was to have the bleachers all for him alone again.
„You are bothering me,“ Zeke said, narrowing his eyes threateningly. „Which is not a good idea.“
To his surprise, Casey laughed. „Oh, c'mon, Zeke, you might be the school's most famous dealer, but you are none of the bullies.
We can share the bleachers. I don't care about what you are doing here.“
