„I will always remember her smile,“ Kurdy murmured while staring at Elizabeth's grave, „when I first saw her. In times like these, it is much easier to live on your own, and I never thought about a serious relationship. But with her... I knew, with her, my life would finally be complete.“ He paused, sighing silently. „Now she's gone, and I don't know how to move on without her. It makes me sick even to think about her.“

„At least you can remember her smile,“ Smith said. „Her voice, when she has sung. The way she always brushed her hair out of her face. I'm sure there are much more memories for you to hold on to.“

Kurdy narrowed his eyes. „Why don't you just shut up?“

Smith shrugged, apologizing. „Because it is better to have painful memories than to have none of them at all.“
