Still dozy, Zeke opened the door. „Geez, Casey, what's happened? It's still dark outside.“

„It's almost nine o'clock.“ The boy in front of him smiled brightly while shaking off the snow from his boots and woolen hat. „And we want to go to Akron this weekend for some shopping and later visit the Christmas market.“

„You can't be serious!“ Zeke rolled his eyes. „It's snowing, and it's freezing cold.“

„Sure it is; it's winter.“ Casey shrugged, unimpressed. „C'mon, you grinch, get ready, and we will have a hell of a lot of fun today.“

„My idea of a fun weekend is different,“ Zeke stepped forward to pull his boyfriend into his arms, placing a kiss onto his nose. „Geez, you are totally chilled through; come on in, we need to warm you up.“

Casey giggled. „Oh, you think we could stay in your snuggly bed, watching cheesy movies, drinking hot cacao? Nice try.“

„Sounds tempting, doesn't it?“

„What, if we compromise about it? My parents won't be at home this weekend, office Christmas party of my dad; they go to Mad River Mountain for skiing. So, we could go to Akron and the Christmas market at first. And when we come back here, we have the whole night to warm up again.“

A wide grin sneaked on Zeke's face. „Give me a moment to get ready.“
