Zeke eyed the boy on his porch up and down and finally smirked. „Geez, get in here. I guess you will have to take this off.“
Casey couldn't help it; he blushed deeply. „Ähm... no,“ he protested.
„I promise, I won't look.“ Zeke couldn't hide his grin. „But you need to get out of your wet clothes, or you'll catch a nasty cold only two weeks before the finals.“
Casey's heart was beating wild, though he knew that Zeke was right. Inwardly grumping about himself, he stepped over the threshold. It was so ridiculous to feel nervous like that. Zeke would never harm him. Even if they were not closest friends. At lunchbreak, the older boy often joined him at the bleachers; they shared a lab table and sometimes met at the library on Saturday to work together for school. But being here in his house was different. Everyone knew Zeke never invited someone home without a good reason.
„Here, this should do it for the moment.“ Zeke turned back from the big cabinet under the stairs, holding out an old t-shirt with a Simpson print and some sweatpants. „A bit geeky, but I guess you won't mind.“
