„I'm sorry,“ Zeke wanted to say the moment Casey entered his garage. He had thought about their fight all night long. Usually he would have felt relieved that it was over because he hated every kind of drama. He had never looked for nearness when he had started to meet someone; just some fun, not a serious relationship.

But this time it was different. Because Casey was different. And the thought that their time was over did hurt much more than he had ever expected. So he had made a decision. It was okay to overstep his lines now and then, at least a tiny bit, enough to make Casey stay with him.

„I'm sorry, Zeke.“

He blinked confused. „What?“

Still hesitating, Casey stepped closer. „I'm sorry,“ he repeated, his voice slightly shaking. „I had no right to push you so much. You never made any promises that it could ever be more than just sex.“ He licked his dry lips. „That's okay; I can live with it.“

Zeke stared at him silently for a while until he pulled him into his arms. „I don't know what it is,“ he murmured. „But it is more than just mindless sex.“

The happiness in Casey's eyes was overwhelming, and Zeke thought that he would do all to see this more often in the future.
