„Stop that,“ Walter tried to step back when Paige put her arms around him, pulling him to the crowded dancefloor. „What are you doing?“

„Don't worry; it won't hurt. “Paige smiled. „I just want to dance with you.“

„Dancing? Why?“

„Because this is a party, and everyone does.“

Walter blinked slightly nervous like he often did when he tried to sort out a complicated situation. „I can't dance,“ he finally admitted.

Paige laughed. „It's not that difficult. Just stop thinking for a while; listen to the music and follow the rhythm.“

Sometime later. Slightly out of breath, Paige was leaning against Walter when the music stopped. „Oh, that was good. I knew you would be a very talented dancer. Did you have fun?“

„Hmmm, I guess,“ Walter answered. „To be honest, it was an enjoyable practical experience, I would like to repeat one day soon.“

Zeke laughed inwardly; this was so Casey. He always wanted to talk about just everything. And usually, Zeke didn't mind playing along. This time though...

Gently he pulled him into his arms for a soft kiss. „Case,“ he whispered. "Words can't explain how wonderful it is to make love. But I can show you.“


Let's talk straight

„Let's talk straight, Zeke. You want to be together with Casey? Why?“

The answer was easy and difficult at the same time. To express his feelings for Casey with only some words seemed to be impossible.

„I love him,“ he finally murmured.

Obviously the right answer. A smile sneaked on Mr. Connor's face.


Once more, with feeling

"Sorry." Zeke avoided eye contact; much too afraid of what he would find in Casey's amazing blue eyes. "I didn't mean to hurt you."

A long pause; he was sure, this was the end. Then a hand touched his shoulder gently. „Well. I guess we could do it again my way. With more feeling.“
