Casey frowned slightly. „That's kinda cheating,“ he murmured.
Zeke laughed. „Oh, c'mon, can't you forget being the golden boy at least for one afternoon? It's such a great day, the sun is shining, and you want to waste your time at a sticky library?“
„Well, that's part of a homework, isn't it? Do some research by yourself, not look up the summaries others have posted on the internet.“
„I always do it that way, and no one has ever complained about it.“
„Great!“ Casey pulled his face.“But that's not me!“
„I know.“ Zeke chuckled again. „But it won't hurt to overstep the lines now and then. We don't have to tell anyone when we now get into the GTO to leave the town behind. Maybe spend some time at the lake. I've heard lots of birds are breeding at the moment. You could take your camera with you.“
„That's not fair!“
Zeke's eyes sparkled. „So, library or lake? It's your decision; I will accept it.“
„Lake,“ Casey gave in, unable to hide his smile. „But only when we make a stop at Annie's milkbar for one of her delicious muffins.“
