„So.“ Zeke watched the boy sitting on the old couch in his garage with narrowed eyes. „The checkered shirts are finally gone?“

Casey laughed. „Was about time, don't you think so? I will go to college soon, and I don't want to look like a geek any longer.“

„You are a geek. Not a styled-up glamour boy, no matter how hard you try.“

„Hm. I am not sure if I take this as a compliment. I'm a styled-up glamour boy now? But it's just a blue shirt and new denim. Inside, I am still the same, don't worry.“

"If you say so." Zeke smirked. „I've never thought that this will ever happen, but I will miss the good old checkered shirts and the much too wide jeans.“
