Title: Rainy Weekend
Prompt: rain
Character: Casey Connor, Zeke Tyler
Words: 409
Finished: November 2017

:::

Casey stared out of the window; rain was pouring down, the sky was gray and dreary. Like his mood. This was not fair. The first weekend for months he was free to do what he wanted. The tests at school were finally over, and his parents were on their way to Idaho to visit an old friend of his dad.

Zeke had suggested a trip to the Moshannon State Forest; he knew Casey well enough to guess what his photographer heart would love. But now, this excellent plan was rained off, literally.

The GTO stopped in front of the Connor's house; quickly, Zeke stepped in and closed the door behind him.
„Puh, that's a foul weather today.“
He bent forward for a kiss.
„Hey, what's wrong? You've a face as long as a fiddle.“

Casey sighed, trying hard to fight his disappointment.
„It's nothing, sorry. But I couldn't wait to finally go to the Moshannon Forest. A nice photo trip, spending some alone time together with you.“

Zeke chuckled slightly.
„I'm here. And a whole weekend is lying ahead of us. Where is the problem?“

„It's raining cats and dogs.“

„Well, sometimes even the best-laid plans can go wrong,“ Zeke agreed.
„And it can never hurt to have an emergency plan.“

„I guess you are right; I'm a drama queen again. Do you want to go over into your garage? We could watch a movie. Maybe order a pizza.“

„Hm.“
Zeke scratched his nose.
„What do you think about the Glenlaurel Scottish Inn?“

Casey smirked.
„Insider tip. Pretty romantic shit. Stan has thought about it to invite Stokes for a long weekend, but she preferred to go to Akron, to the Bloody Con.“

Zeke laughed.
„Why this doesn't surprise me? What's with you? You like romance.“

„Hm. You think Stan is interested in spending a romantic weekend with me? Very unlikely.“

„Good for him.“
Zeke grinned wide and pulled a key out of his pocket.
„A cottage just for the two of us. A fireplace in the bedroom, a whirlpool in the bathroom, a roofed porch. Room service around the clock. We don't even have to leave the bed if we don't want to.“

For a moment, Casey felt out of words.
„You are fooling me; the inn is booked up months in advance.“

„Aawww. Never underestimate your brilliant boyfriend.

So, ready to leave this hellhole of town behind for the best rainy weekend ever?“

Title: Apple Pie
Prompt: pie
Character: Kurdy Malloy, Mr. Smith
Words: 225
Finished: October 2017

:::

Kurdy's eyes rested on the little guy thoughtfully. Smith was his name, he had told him, but Kurdy wasn't sure if this was true. His worn-out coat, the way he clutched his backpack. The remnants of a life. It couldn't be easy for him in the new world, a world without rules; only the strongest and most ruthless could survive alone on the roads. He looked too small, his voice was too gentle, and the things he had told Kurdy were much too creepy.

But he had saved his life today!

Kurdy knew Markus didn't like strangers in the Mountain, but at least for one night, he wanted to offer some peace. A place to warm up, a comfortable bed, and a good meal.

„So, where do you want to start,“ he asked, pointing at the long buffet table in the cafeteria. Smith still stood rooted to the ground. Kurdy could understand what was going on inside him. He remembered all too well the first time he entered the cafeteria of the Mountain. The sight of all the treats, the smell of hearty meals and fresh coffee. Like a wonderland.

„The stew is delicious. And you should try the roast chicken.“ Kurdy chuckled. „Best to try both.“

„Apple pie.“ Smith whispered, smacking his lips. "I will try the apple pie. With cream.“

Title: Teamwork
Characters: Zeke Tyler
Word Count: 148
prompt: school
Finished: November 2017

:::

Zeke dropped his book onto the table. His mood was low. Teamwork. He hated teamwork. Especially he hated teamwork with Casey Connor.

Any other would agree to do the homework alone and to share the result with Zeke; everyone knew he wouldn't be niggard with a thank you. Casey, though, was different, not interested in cigarettes, faked ID cards or porn magazines. He was a good boy, insisting that they would meet at the school's library in the afternoon to do all the work together.

When Casey entered the room, Zeke cringed inwardly. Not because of the too wide jeans or the stupid checkered shirt, not even because of the camera around his neck, which outright cried: I'm the world's greatest geek. It was because of a pair of striking blue eyes that always made Zeke's heart beat faster and aroused dreams he didn't like in the slightest.

Title: Daydreaming
Characters: Beth Greene
Word Count: 100
Prompt: clouds
Finished: November 2017

:::

She was lying on the clearing, surrounded by fallen leaves. Gray clouds had chased away the last sunbeams, the air was chilly, but Beth didn't mind. She enjoyed this moment of silence; her mind drifted off. Back to the old times, when she had lain on the meadow behind her grandfather's farm together with Maggie. They loved to watch the various shapes of the clouds, cats, hearts, or flowers; Maggie had insisted once on seeing their grandfather in his rocking chair.

Innocent phantasies of two little girls who didn't sense how their world would look like only a few years later.

Title: The Old Orchard
Characters: Zeke Tyler, Casey Connor
Word Count: 702
prompt: apples
Finished: October 2018

:::

Zeke stopped the GTO near the clearing. „So, what do you think? It's a great place, isn't it?“

Casey let his eyes wander. An abandoned orchard; old trees, peas, apples, and cherries, which seemed to live in harmony with the nature around. Wildflowers on the ground, ivy covered the trunks of the trees. Birds in the branches, squirrels and a little duck family on its way to the small pond at the end of the clearing. Yes, it was a beautiful place in the dawning sun; he could probably take some interesting photos. Still a riddle, though, why Zeke insisted on driving about 100 miles to bring him here. There were other places similar to this much nearer to Herrington.

„The apples are ripe now; they are juicy and sweet. You need to try them.“

„Okay.“ Casey turned around to his boyfriend, slightly frowning. „Since when do you care about apples?“

„Healthy food.“

„Sure. Says the junk food lover.“

Zeke's grin turned into a soft smile. „I was here often when I was a child. The place was part of a farm back then and not so magic. But I loved it to come here; I was free and happy.“ He paused shortly before continuing. „It was my grandmother's farm. She was great and did her best to keep the farm running. Went to the farmers market twice a week to sell her homemade stuff. Marmalade. Apple wine. I remember, once I sneaked one of the jars.“ He laughed slightly. „Luckily, it was a new one with only a little alcohol, but I got a nice hangover anyway. All she did was to bring me to bed and to tell me: 'That's a lesson only the life can teach you.'“

Casey had listened in silence. It didn't often happen that Zeke talked about his childhood, and when he did, it was mostly depressing memories. He had never told anything about his grandmother before and about his obvious love to her.

„Seems as if she is great,“ he murmured.

Zeke smiled and grabbed for his hand. „She was,“ he agreed. „The rare times together with her were the best of my life. Despite my parents, she was always there for me; she believed in me. My life would have taken a different route if I had grown up with her.

But I wasn't allowed to see her often. My father never was close to her; not a surprise, you can't picture two people more different than these two. When I was eight years old, he said that she had too much bad influence on me, and he decided to send me to a boarding school.“

The grip around Casey's hand tightened; it hurt, but Casey didn't pull back. He had noticed the tears sparkling in Zeke's eyes.

„I have never seen her again,“ Zeke whispered. „She died two years later, and I wasn't even allowed to go and see her for a last time.“

Casey swallowed hard. „I'm sorry.“ This was lame, but what else could he do then offering some comfort? It didn't happen often that he felt so helpless.

But Zeke shook his head. „No need to, Case. Yes, I was broken back then. Full of hate and loneliness, I was sure I would never meet someone like her again. Someone who does believe in me no matter what I do. Who can love me like I am. But then... I met you.“

Not able to hold back any longer, Casey started to sniff.

„Hey, stop that, you dumb shit!“ Zeke pulled his face. „I didn't tell you to make you feel miserable.“

„ I know. It's just...“ Casey breathed in deeply while fighting his tears back. „I'm so happy that you are finally letting me deeper into your life.“ He paused, then he put his arms around Zeke. „Hey, I just got an idea. Why don't we pick up some of the apples for my Mom? I'm not sure if she can't make apple vine, but her German apple cake is delicious.“

„Sounds like a plan.“ Zeke grabbed Casey's hand and pulled him over to the old orchard.

Words: 100
Finished: October 2017

Maggie rested her head on Glen's shoulder and sighed slightly.

„You okay,“ he asked, and the worried undertone in his voice let her smile.

„Couldn't be better,“ she reassured him. „It's a wonderfully warm and peaceful autumn night. The sky without clouds, the stars, and the moonlight, it couldn't be more perfect.“

And Glen held her in his arms, thinking about it that he would have given all he still owned to make the world pause, to hold on to this moment of peace, to make her forget how much the world had changed, at least for one night.

Probably, this was the best that could happen to him. Casey knew well enough that this time, he wouldn't be able to hide his feelings. Zeke looked just too hot in his new tight denim and the dark red hoodie.

Casey looked at his friend questioningly. „What's what?“

„Over there.“ Zeke pointed into the thick coppice next to them. „Looks like a baby owl.“

Casey smiled when he noticed the little bird sitting on the ground, watching them with curious, dark eyes. „Yeah,“ he agreed. „It's a barn owl. Cute little fellow. And so photogenic.“

While he grabbed his camera, Zeke huffed slightly. „Much too small, I would say. What is he doing here all alone? Do you think he's fallen out of his nest?“

Casey shook his head. „Probably not. Young birds often leave the nest, though they can't even fly. Usually, their parents take care of them nevertheless.“
He pointed up to the trees. „Listen. Can you hear the cooing noises? Probably, they are just waiting for us to leave; then, they will come to feed him.“

„Oh, that's good.“ Zeke grinned. „I've already started to worry that after the stray cat and the two hedgehogs, I will have to add a baby owl into my private zoo.“

„Ruining...“ Zeke licked his dry lips. „Ruining our weekend.“

„Shut up, shithead.“ Casey smirked. „And don't think that you can escape the photo exhibition. We will go as soon as you are fit again.“ He grabbed for the mug and held it to Zeke's lips. „Tea. Small sips.“

Seven Mini Fills

Prompt: 3 sentences - Any, any, losing your memory
Smith watched Kurdy sitting at the fire, a book in his hands but obviously not reading; it was his mother's birthday today; a mother he had loved and lost all too early; during the first days of the Big Days, his father had shot her, not of hate but out of love, because he hadn't been able to endure her suffering any longer.

Sometimes, it was a relief not to be able to remember anything of his past, Smith thought, not his name, not his family, not the good moments that probably had happened in his life before the Big Death plunged the world into chaos, killing all adults, leaving the children behind alone.

All children but him; God had chosen him as his messenger and was his constant companion from then on; but today, God kept quiet, not willing to offer at least some comfort to Kurdy or the rest of the world.

Prompt: strawberries
Smith watched them intently; it was about time his little daughter became familiar with Kurdy, the guy he called his best friend. It was not a big surprise, though, that Rose acted a bit shy; Kurdy was strong, tall, and intimidating, and she looked so small and helpless … even if Smith knew that these first impressions were so wrong.

Kurdy crouched down in front of her and opened his hand; Smith could see the red, ripe fruits in it and he heard his soft voice:” These are strawberries, take one, they are delicious.”

Prompt: paper flower
It didn't often happen that Kurdy felt at a loss for words, but for sure, he was not prepared for this: a little girl with long, brown hair, a shy smile on her lips, some paper flowers in her tiny hands; her words still echoed in his head: 'This is for you. For saving my dad's life' and suddenly he recognized the green-brown eyes and knew it: She was Smith's daughter!

Prompt: 3 sentence fic - ghosts
Kurdy stared at the dark, foggy wall in front of them and huffed, slightly annoyed; he should have known it: a mission together with Smith would never go like expected. All he wanted was to bring this job to an end as quickly as possible and go back to Mountain.

"Don't tell me that you are afraid of ghosts!"

"Whatever is waiting for us in this forest, it's much more horrible than every ghost you can imagine," Smith answered, visibly shuddering.

Prompt: last name
Smith; it was his last name, his first name, his only name, as good as any other. Because he had lost every memory of his past. Because he was God's messenger, and God didn't ask about his name.

Prompt: this is war
Erin watched the long convoy, loaded with men and weapons, leaving the Mountain and sighed. „So, this is war,“ she asked.

Smith thought about God's last message and shook his head. „No, this is just a tiny intermezzo.“

Prompt: (fuck) destiny
"I can't," Smith said. "It's my destiny."

"Fuck destiny," Kurdy growled. "Fuck God. What has he done for us so far, tell me!"

"He did save me. And I'm the one who will save the world."

Sighing, Kurdy gave in.

Title: Celebrating a hunt
Characters: Dean & Sam Winchester
prompt: celebrating after a particularly tough hunt
Word Count: 439 words
Finished: October 2016

:::

It had been a long, tiring week. All Sam wanted was to have a shower and a drink, or two. Usually, he didn't drink much, but today, everything was welcome, which promised a deep and dreamless sleep. He wanted to get rid of the pictures in his mind, at least for a while: pictures of the two children they had hunted and finally found in the old barn. Much too young. Dean had told him to stay outside; emotionless as ever he had completed their job alone. Sam had only heard scraps of cries and thunks, enough to make him cringe inwardly.

„Hey, Sammy, I will go out a bit. Celebrating.“

Sam didn't need to look up. He knew, Dean was standing near the door, dressed up in his tight, black denim and a white shirt, a smile on his face as if nothing had happened.

He sighed inwardly. Not this again. He had seen his brother in this state before. He would end up somewhere in a bar, drinking, dancing, and flirting all night long. Probably he would go home with one of the prettiest girls, he would spend the night with her. In the morning, he would come back to the motel in the best humor, with coffee and donuts and muesli for Sam.

The nightmares would come later when reality caught up with him again. Then he would wake up from sleep startled, drenched in sweat, shaking all over. He would stand up and sneak out of the motel room for a smoke so as not to bother him, Sam.

It had been like this since Sam could remember. Dean had to be the tough one who cared for his little brother. And who had ever cared about him? Their father? No. John had been a good hunter but not a good father. After that night, where a demon had burned their home and killed their mother, they had been on the road all the time. While Sammy had been much too young to understand, Dean had to take over his part of the family business.

Determined Sam put down the glass of Whiskey. It was about time for a change. He was not the little boy anymore. Since their father was gone, it was only him and Dean. It wasn't enough anymore to be at his side, he needed to take over his part of the burden.

„Wait a moment, and I will come with you,“ he murmured.

Only for a second, Dean looked surprised. „Well, I guess it's about time to lose your virginity, Sammy-boy.“ This time the smile on his face was genuine.

Title: Purgatory
Characters: Dean Winchester, Benny Lafitte
Prompt: Dean/Benny if he never left purgatory and made a life with Benny there
Word Count: 523 words
Warning: Character Death
Finished: October 2020

:::

„Sam!“

The voice of Dean was full of panic; he desperately gasped for air; flailing his arms uncontrolled. But Benny knew better than to try to comfort him or even wake him up. He had done once; Dean had freaked out, lashed out at him, even choked him. He had needed all his force to shake him off; then, he had to bind him until he finally started to think clearly again.

It was already a while since Dean had decided not to go back to earth but to stay here with him; hard to say how long: days, weeks, even months, everything was possible. Time in purgatory had lost every importance. The whole existence reduced to fighting and surviving. Usually alone; it was better to trust no one.

The reason why Benny had decided to stay here. As a vampire who had already lived for centuries, he had to bear a many loss. Everyone he loved would die sooner or later. He had been so sick of it. Life in purgatory was much easier; no feelings, no responsibility, no dreams, no hope, no future; always the same grayness around and the knowledge that every moment could be the last one.

Dean had changed everything. He was different than any other monster or human being Benny had ever met. On earth, he was a hunter. If they had met there first, one of them wouldn't be alive anymore. But they met in purgatory. First, it was just an alliance of convenience because they both were looking for a way to survive. But it turned into friendship soon enough, a very close friendship. Until that one night, after a long, tiring fight against some leviathans. Benny couldn't even say how it had happened; he had never been together with a guy in all the years on earth and neither did Dean. But it felt like the only right thing that they became lover.

Afterward, Dean was still lying in his arms, his body so warm and sweaty despite the chilling cold around them. And he had made the decision to stay. Until the end of time, he had said.

Shared fights at day, shared refuges at night. Not alone anymore. Despite all doubting, Benny had gotten used to it all too quickly.

„Sam!“

Dean had told him once that purgatory was the best that could have happened to him: a dark and cruel place, lost like his soul. But the dreams occurred more and more often and pulled him back with full force. Back into his old life where Sam, his brother, was still looking for him.

„No!“

Dean woke with a start, grabbed the big knife beside him, and aimed it at Benny; his eyes were surprisingly calm and dark. The vampire didn't move; he knew this was the end. Dean was still trapped in his dream; he didn't recognize him as his lover, only as a vampire who was going to hurt his brother.

Benny closed his eyes when Dean thrust the sharp blade deep into his body. He was ready to accept his fate. Everything was better than to be alone again.

Title: Hide & Seek
Characters: whee Sam, young Dean, John Winchester
Prompt: weechesters, playing in the rain
Word Count: 580 words
Finished: June 2016

Feeling worn out, John was finally returning to the old shack in the woods, their home for some weeks. It had been a dreadfully long day; it seemed as if the autumn storm, which was raging over the town for a week, had pulled in every kind of monster.

When the Impala rolled onto the small clearing, he stiffened. A small, dark figure was running through the rain, hiding behind a tree, obviously observing the shack. A ghost? A daemon? A monster he had missed to kill and which was now threatening his sons?

John was able to deal with almost every situation, but since he had witnessed his beloved wife burning to death, the thought that something similar might happen to his sons one day, too, was his biggest nightmare. He tried to teach Dean to take care of himself and of his little brother, he was a good and willing student but still so inexperienced. Too young for a life as a hunter, John knew this well enough.

He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down. This was just a case like all the others; kill the monster, save the clueless victims. The moment he left the car, he could hear it.

A suppressed laugh, then: “Dean! C'mon and find me.“

John paled, relief and anger rushing through his body. Leaving every caution behind, he rushed over to the little figure, grabbed the arm, and pulled the small body around. Startled, Sam cried out, staring into his father's dark eyes, not recognizing him in the first shock.

Only a moment later Dean's voice. „Sam? Sammy? What's happened?“

The fear in his voice was hard to ignore. Only a second later, he was there, with a big knife in his hands. He stopped dead when he recognized his father.

„What the hell is going on here, Dean,“ John bellowed. „What about the order: 'Don't leave the house' you didn't understand? How can you bring Sammy into this danger?“

Sam started to sniffle; it was hard to say if tears or just the rain were wetting his pale face. Dean stretched out his hand to wipe them away; then he turned to his father. Defiance was sparkling in his eyes; John had never noticed before. Dean had learned to trust his father and follow his words without protest.

„He wasn't in danger. I've double-checked the surroundings before going out with him.“

„Was there a reason to do that? Like, a real threat inside the shack?“

„Nothing like that, no.“ Dean shook his head. „But Sam had a nightmare; the air in the shack was muggy, and he was so afraid. I needed to find something to distract him. Sammy loves playing Hide and Seek.“

John closed his eyes for a split second. Once again, he wished Mary would still be around; not only did he miss his wife, but the boys needed a mother; a mother who would understand what was going on in their heads. Hide and seek? A storm was raging, the world was taken over by all kind of monsters, and Dean decided to play Hide and Seek with his little brother? Not sure what to think of this, John finally loosed his grip around Sam's arm.

„C'mon, let's get back inside and change clothes. We are all wet to the bones, and we don't want to catch a cold.“

Protective Dean put his arm around his little brother's shoulder before following his father.

Title: The Ghost Shark
Prompt: Ghost Shark
Character: Dean Winchester
Words: 274
Finished: Match 2016

:::

Still shaking, Dean closed his eyes and pulled his little brother into his arms. That had been close; almost too close. He didn't want to think about what this ... thing ... the ghost shark ... would have done with Sam if he hadn't come back in time.

His father had warned them not to leave the shabby cabin. But the comic he was reading had been boring and Sammy was asleep, so he did sneak away to the nearby gas station. Only for some minutes, but when he returned, Sammy was gone.

He found him at the small lake, standing near the beach, staring over the water. It had taken some time until Dean had realized what was going on. The ghost shark his dad was hunting had found them: a blurred, grey, enormous body and black eyes full of hate.

Never before Dean had felt so much panic, inwardly he cried for his dad. He would know what to do, but Dean didn't. He had forced himself to stay calm, pretending to know what to do next. He was the hunter today. If he failed, it wouldn't only mean certain death for Sammy but for him, too.

"Dean!" The sharp voice of his father tore him out of his thoughts. "What's going on?"

"It's nothing, just a nightmare," he lied. "Sammy is okay."

And he took his little brother into his arms to bring him back to bed, and when he felt his arms around his neck, his warm breath, his still-wet face, and his heartbeat, it felt like the truth, at least for the moment.

"It's okay, Dean. I understand; you can't leave the town as long as Sam is still in the hospital."

"I am sorry. I know our plans have been different. But I will always be in your debt. You did risk your life to save Sammy."

Benny kept quiet, looking at the guy he loved. With all his heart. Loved him in a way he had never loved before. Though he had always known that Dean's feelings would never be so deep.

There was only room for one guy in his heart: Sam, his little brother. Without him, Dean was lost. So it hadn't been a question of what to do when Sam had been in danger. He had to save him to save Dean. No matter what it meant for him.

Finally, he smiled. "I guess it's time for me to go. But next time we meet, you will spring for a beer!"

When there would ever be a 'next time.' The way lying ahead of him was dangerous, and he would have to go it alone.

Dean kept quiet. Of course, he did remember. But unlike Sam, he was not thinking about the sun, the ice cream, and the fun they had had. It had been late at night; little Sam had long fallen asleep when his dad had torn him out of his sleeping bag.

The ghosts were strong that night, and for the first time, Dean realized what kind of life was waiting for him.

The pain rushed through his body, he cringed and yelped out while Gabe and his friends turned his beloved camera into a football ... no, no, no; they teased and bullied him since he could remember but never before he had felt desperate like this.

Then, someone touched his arm surprisingly softly, and when he opened his eyes again, Zeke Tyler was standing in front of him, the bad boy from school who didn't care about anyone else but himself. With a foreign smile on his lips and the camera with the broken lens in his hands, he helped Casey up and said: "Let's go to my garage; I guess I can repair this."

The Faculty - written for Comment Fic and FFFC

Eleven Minifills and Microfics
Finished 2017-2019

Prompt: 3 sentences - emergency
Zeke cursed loudly and hit the brake as hard as possible; the GTO stopped only a footstep from the boy.

"My mom," he stammered before Zeke could yell at him, "she was cleaning the windows and fell from the ladder; I guess she broke her ankle."

For sure, it was not his business, but a pair of striking blue eyes looked at him so helplessly that Zeke put his hand on Casey's shoulder and said reassuringly: "Don't worry, we will take her to the emergency room; they will know how to help her."

Prompt: why?
"Why did you do that," Casey asked, still feeling shocked.

Zeke eyed him with the usual smug grin on his lips. "Why didn't you stop me?"

"You're such ass!"

Zeke chuckled and pulled him back into his arms for another breathtaking kiss. "That's why you can't resist me."

Prompt: what love is
„Love only exists in fairy tales,“ Zeke said and smirked,“ and don't you think you are a bit too old to believe in them?“

Casey smiled:“ I think you are wrong; my parents have been married for over 20 years already, and they are still happy together; one day, I will find someone I want to spend my life with, too, and yes, I would call this love.“

The thought, that Casey one day would tell another guy: “I love you,“ did hurt much more than Zeke was willing to admit.

Prompt: breakfast in bed
„Good morning, sleepyhead, “ the cheery voice tore Zeke out of his sleep; reluctantly, he opened his eyes and blinked because of the glaring sunlight.

„What the hell, Casey,“ he groaned,“ I hope there is a good reason that you wake me up that early on a day off.“

The boy giggled unfazed, pulled the blanket from Zeke's naked body, and eyed him with sparkling blue eyes:“ Hmmm, it's so hard to decide how to start this day; good morning sex with my oh so hot boyfriend or breakfast in bed with pancakes and chocolate muffins.“

Prompt: 1 sentence - pencils
Casey swallowed hard; it got more and more difficult to follow the lessons since this new boy was in his class with a smug grin on his face and the long, yellow pencil between his lips instead of writing down notes in his exercise book with it, he looked much too hot.

Prompt: one sentence - driving in the middle of the night
His life was a mess; his parents had never cared about him, and he had to learn early to be a lonely fighter to survive; no true friends, no stupid future dreams; he was a realist who preferred to use others before they used him; but when he was driving through the night in his GTO he felt almost happy.

Prompt: first contact
Casey knew his mother would never understand why he suddenly had changed his future plans; being a scientist, working for NASA one day had been his biggest dream since he could remember, but the last Friday at school, his first contact with an alien, had changed everything

Prompt: 3 sentence fic = morning sex
"Casey," Zeke growled, only half awake, "there is one thing you need to learn about me: I'm so not a morning person."

"You are not," his boyfriend asked, teasing, and in the same moment, he pounced on him, tickled him, kissed him, and bit him softly. It didn't last long, and all parts of Zeke's body were fully awake.

Prompt: 25 words = tender
Startled, Casey almost jumped back when Zeke touched his cheek tenderly. The boy smirked. "Don't worry. I would never hurt you, don't you know this?"

Prompt: 25 words = This is weird
Zeke was lying on his bed, wide awake. This was weird. He was the king at school, every guy respected him, all girls were crazy about him. But since he shared a lab-table with this new boy in class, he couldn't think about anything else but his striking blue eyes.

Prompt: drive-in - The Faculty
'Surprise', Zeke had told him when Casey asked where they would go tonight. He hadn't expected a trip to a drive-in. When he opened the box of his burger he blinked.

"What's that?"

Zeke chuckled and pulled him into his arms for a kiss.
"The key to our first apartment."

His father had been out on a hunt for about a week. It was a rainy day; the sun did hide all day long when Dean suddenly realized that the demon he was looking for had obviously made a turnaround and was now laying siege to the shabby hut, which was the refuge for Sam and him.

His dad would never be back in time, so it was up to him again to save his little brother. He hated the thought. No, he was not afraid of ghosts, demons, or even death; his father had taught him to think and act like a hunter since he could remember. But to be in charge of the safety and well-being of Sam was literally choking him.

Sam was only five years old, too young to understand what was happening around him. Sometimes, Dean almost hated him for his kid-like innocence. But, of course, he would never forgive himself when something happened to him; Sam was family, besides his father, the only family he still had.

Dean shrugged off every kind of insecurity and forced himself to concentrate on what he had to do. Gently, he patted Sam on his shoulder. The little boy had fallen asleep in front of the fireplace, his old, wooden truck still in his little hands.

„Sammy!“

He blinked drowsily. "Wassup?"

Dean put a finger on his lips to silence him. "Shh. Get up and get dressed again. We are going to play a game."

A smile sneaked on Sam's lips. He loved it when his big brother found some time to play with him; it didn't happen often. "What kind of game? Does dad know?"

"Sure he does," Dean reassured his little brother without showing any sign of his impatience. "He wants us to sneak out of the hut and return to the farm beside the bridge." Where it hopefully would be safe. Enough distance between Sam and the demon.

"Where we got the blueberry waffles yesterday," Sam asked, licking his lips.

Dean nodded. "Yeah. Do you remember the way? It's easy; just follow the creek. You can do that, don't you, you are already five now."

The creek was only small, but the water was torrential; the edge was covered with all kinds of slippery stones and undergrowth. The path alongside was almost invisible, even during daylight. And at that moment, it was raining again, and even the last light started to fade away. To let Sammy alone find his way was a risk Dean would never take under other circumstances. But for now, he had no other choice.

Suddenly, Sam looked unsure. "Won't you come with me?"

„That's part of the game,“ Dean said, patting his back reassuringly. „You go first; I will follow a bit later. And don't look behind you. If you do ...“ He blinked at Sam with a wide grin. „If you do, I will win the game.“

Only some minutes later, he watched Sammy slip out the door, his slight figure almost invisible under the dark gray raincoat. It was silent outside, beside the rain dropping on the trees and the hut's roof. Dean smiled. Sammy was good at sneaking away; he loved to play hide and seek. For him, this was just another game.

The smile vanished when Dean noticed the big, dark figure behind the hut. With slightly narrowed eyes, he grabbed the gun from the wooden balustrade of the porch and waited.
