Casey smirked, eying the burger with fries on the plate in front of him suspiciously. Okay, it smelled good, and it was obviously not the usual frozen stuff. But who would call this an exclusive dinner, even if it came with a salat and a glass of wine?
Of course, Zeke noticed his look. „Any problems?“
„Well, that's fast food, and it has nothing to do with cooking.“
„It's an art in itself to make a good burger. Give it a try. Even the fries are homemade.
„Hm.“ Casey finally gave in and took a bite. And a second one. Then he licked his lips, grinning. „“Okay, I will have to admit, this mixture between sweet and spicey is perfect. What's this sauce? I need to tell my mom to buy it.“
Zeke chuckled satisfied. „You can't buy it in a store; it's my secret recipe. But I made some changes extra for you; I knew about your sweet tooth. And now, shut up. Try the fries before they get cold.
And never dare to say again that I can't cook."
