Title: New Year's Resolutions

New Year's Resolutions by Zeke Tyler:
I never did New Year's Resolutions before, but many things have changed since I am together with Casey, so maybe it is time to start with it.
1. I will find a way to spoil Casey at least a bit, though he still refuses to accept it. But he needs it to get spoiled now and then.
2. I need to open up a bit against Casey's parents, though I don't trust any adults. But Casey loved them, and to be honest, even if Mrs. Connor sometimes is a bit too overprotecting, and Mr. C still stares at me with threatening eyes when I pick Casey up for a movie evening; actually, they are quite okay.
3. I will do better at school; not skipping lessons anymore; I will do the homework regularly, even if this stuff bores me to death. Maybe still some dealings during lunchbreak; selling stupid porn magazines and horror movies actually doesn't hurt, but I need to be more careful. I can't risk a school suspension anymore because I want to attend a college in New York or San Francisco next year. Maybe together with Casey.
This sounds easy. I know, I can do all this. I know I am ready to change my life. But the next two points...
4. I need to rebuild the garage. It will be hard, and it will bring back lots of nightmares. I am afraid to remember the horrible night where fucking MaryBeth turned out to be an alien queen. She was hot. I have kissed her. The thought alone drives me crazy. But I need to come to terms with the past to be free for the future I want.
5. I need to tell Casey 'I love you.' I always refused to believe in love, but it's about time to face the truth. Even if I am scared that he might laugh at me.
