Cobra Kai (TV) - written for Sweet and Short
Title: Defeated
Character: Sam LaRusso
Word Count: 166
Prompt: broken
Finished: 04.04.2023
:::
Sam was lying on the ground; her arm puckering wild, she could feel blood running over her hand. In a mixture of shock and pain, she closed her eyes.
Already as a little girl, she had loved karate. Had taken in every word her father had told her. „Karate is not about fighting up to the end to destroy your opponent,“ she could hear him saying. „It's about winning with respect and honor. Never forget this.“
And she hadn't, up to today. The fight at school with the students of the Cobra Kai Dojo had nothing to do with sportsmanship. It was brutal and merciless. She had noticed hate in Tory's eyes when she had attacked her, and instinctively she had known that the one who would break down first would not get up so quickly again.
Sam felt tears rising up in her eyes when the realization hit her that she was the one. Defeated. Broken. All she had believed in since she could remember lost forever.
