„What are you still doing here,“ Kurdy asked, looking around the shabby hut. „Markus has offered you a room at the Mountain.“
Smith grabbed for the old kettle, pouring hot water into two mugs on the wooden table. „I was living on the roads for years. This hut feels like home; I don't need much comfort.“
„You can't spend the winter in the woods. The weather will get worse soon, the temperatures fall under 20 degrees at night.“
Smith smiled. „Thank you, Kurdy, but don't worry. God has an eye on me, and whatever he wants will happen.“
