Erin found Smith outside, leaning against an old trunk. „I don't know if hanging around here is a good idea during a night that cold!“
„I am grateful for the shelter the Mountain offers,“ Smith answered. „But I needed some time for myself. Sometimes it's so hard to see the decay of the world, not knowing how I can stop it.“
Erin pulled her scarf closer around her face, keeping quiet for a while. „This is a fight one man alone can't win,“ she finally said. „But I'm sure, when we all stand together, we can change a lot.“
