Title: A touch of red
Character: Stan Rosado, Stokely Mitchell
Word Count: 194
Prompt: red
Finished: 15.07.2021
:::
Stan stopped in front of the bench, glancing at the girl sitting there, reading a book by Aldous Huxley. Inwardly he chuckled; she was the only girl he had ever met who was crazy about science fiction classics and comics. Who didn't care about the predefined dress code of the cheerleaders, every girl at school tried to follow but preferred black clothes and shirts with emblems of heavy metal bands. Nevertheless, no one at school would dare to fuck around with her because of her sharp tongue.
Suddenly she seemed to notice his eyes resting on her, and she looked up. „Rosado,“ she snapped. „Anything wrong?“
Stan grinned. „Just wondering how you would look like in a dress.“
Stokely gasped for air. „What?!“
„A black dress with a touch of red. Red meets the color of your hair. Add some fitting accessories, and it's a perfect outfit for prom.“
„Prom?!“ She pulled her face. „What's wrong with you today? That's ridiculous. I am so not a Barbie like the cheerleader bitches.“
„No, you are not,“ Stan agreed. „That's the reason why I would like to go to prom together with you.“
