Zeke pulled the face when he noticed Deliah standing beside Casey on the bleachers, going on and on at him without pause. The boy didn't look very happy. But bitchy bitch didn't seem to care. She never did; was only interested in herself.
Only some weeks ago, she wouldn't have had an eye for Casey; back then, she had been the popular cheerleader queen and he the geek from school. This had changed within one night when the impossible had happened.
Zeke knew that all Casey wanted was to leave the memories at the alien queen behind and just to move on with his life. But Delilah had different plans. She forced him to give one interview after the other and stuck to him like bubblegum. Bathed in the fame he got, ready to tell the story about Casey, the hero who had saved the world, again and again.
Zeke could see Casey shaking his head heavily, and Delilah was almost freaking out. He sighed. It was about time to step in, or this bitch would devour the boy from head to toe.
